Where have I been, you ask? Barnes Jewish Hospital in St Louis, actually. My mother is very, very sick and I have been with her. She's currently septic and battling it out, so any good thoughts you could send her way would be wonderful.

She's been in the hospital for the past five weeks, and took to the infection after having heart surgery. She was doing very badly the other night and they didn't know if she was going to make it, but she's through the worst of it and I have hope she will recover. She's a tough old bird (have to be, to put up with my shenanigans!), but any good juju sent her way would help. I know there are a lot of good people who watch my account here and that I can call friends, so thank you all. <3

I will offer amazing, mind blowing stock after all of this in return. Keep safe, lovelies.

oh wow, good luck and :hugs: to you and your ma. heart surgery is enough on its own, but an infection? thats really awful darl.

i hope she is through the worst of it and makes a huge complete recovery.

I can't imagine what you're going through, but I know it's really tough on you. I hope that your mom is through the worst of it, and gets out of danger very soon. :hug:
